Six Afghan Red Cross workers killed by suspected ISIL gunmen

Suspected ISIL fighters have killed at least six Afghan employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), who were carrying supplies to areas hit by deadly snow storms. The organization’s aid activities in the country are now on hold. Two workers are still missing. The head of the ICRC called the attack on the organization the worst in 20 years.
